Minimum stagnant area
GESTRA provides highly responsive thermostatic steam traps with minimum stagnant area for sterile and aseptic plants making them ideal for CIP (clean-in-place) and SIP (steam-in-place) processes. The STERI line membrane regulators, used in the SMK thermostatic steam traps for SIP and CIP processes series react especially quickly to a change in temperature or change in phase. Due to their design, they use a smaller surface area and are very light.
